| TECO Pneumatic has had our
website up and running for quite a few years. We have found it to be a
continuous improvement project and one that is given constant attention.
Our site started at the beginning with our name, address, phone and fax numbers and a listing of the various pneumatic component lines we sell and stock. It has now evolved into far more and one we do suggest you log on and check.
We have designed our website to provide you, our customer, with easy-to-use information. It is a supplement to, but not a replacement for, our sales and customer service personnel. Our website is designed to be a technical resource for all of your pneumatic application needs. For those of you who prefer to get information from the web, we have it. For those who still like the paper catalogs, we have that too. Why not spend a minute now and take a quick look at our web site? It’s easy to remember: www.tecopneumatic.com. The first thing you’ll see is What’s New at TECO. Here you will find announcements about new products or at this time information about our new catalog-on-a-CD.
Under the heading ‘Our Suppliers’ you will be able to see whom we represent and the products each supplier offers. Convenient links to our supplier’s websites are also provided, but in most cases our site will have all the information you need.
In the ‘Our Products’ section, our product offering is presented by type, function, size, etc. Here you will find links to the appropriate section of our website to get the information you need. Most documents are in Adobe PDF format, so you can directly print, fax or e-mail them. In many cases you can download AutoCAD drawing files. Other sections are:
We have tried to make the website useful to you. Please let us know how we can improve upon it. Fabco-Air Global Air Cylinders Fabco-Air designed and built the first Pancake Cylinder way back in 1957. Since then, they have improved on that first design and expanded the line to include many variations on the same theme. The theme being, a space saving air cylinder that fits into minimal geography. One variation that arrived on the scene in the 1990’s was their ‘Global Series Cylinders’, which have extruded aluminum bodies. These are a more ISO looking and interchange with those made in Europe and Asia. Fabco-Air’s rod bearings are made of ‘Duralon’, which give long life to an important wear point on a cylinder. This bearing has extremely high-load bearing capacity, very low friction and will not gall or score the piston rod. Many options and variations of Global Cylinders are offered, including adjustable strokes, tandem cylinders, multi-position and multi-power sensors. All available with sensors. If you don’t see the special option you want, call TECO, as Fabco-Air will make your special variation of their cylinder. SPECIFICATIONS
Fabco-Air 'GT' Series of Global Air Cylinders One new Global Series variation Fabco-Air designed is one with Guided Tool Plates. That is what the ‘GT’ references in the name. Starting with a basic double acting Global Series Cylinder, Fabco-Air added chrome plated, stainless steel guide shafts outboard on the cylinder to guide the tool plate connected to the rod. The guide shafts are running in ‘Duralon’ Linear Bearings to give exact, smooth movement of the anodized aluminum tool plate. GT Global Cylinders give you a very precise, rigid platform to mount your fixtures and tooling. The lift will be exact with no rotation, sag or variation. This is an easy method to have a firm linear movement, all given by one air cylinder. Standard tool plates have tapped holes for mounting of your tooling and fixtures, or you can have options on mountings. If you would like different tapped holes in a specific location, Fabco-Air will make the special tooling plate. As standard, the tooling plate comes with either metric or inch tapped holes. Or it can be a blank tooling plate, ready for you own design. Bores and strokes sizes are the same as the standard Global Series Cylinder. Most of the options found on the standard Global are available on the GT Series, including position sensors. If you need your tooling to move in an exact position, with no side-to-side or rotational movement, consider using the Fabco-Air GT, Guided Toolplate Cylinder. Allenair Cyl-Check Cylinder Control A customer of TECO’s needed an elevator control to continuously lift labels to a vacuum feed on a bottling line. Labels were lifted off the stack, but the top level had to be held within specifications for the vacuum picker to do its job. With an electric sensor to tell when the stack had to be raised, the customer used an Allenair Cyl-Check to control a rodless air cylinder doing the actual lifting. Allenair’s Cyl-Check is an oil cylinder that transfers oil from one side to the other of the piston, running the oil through an adjustable orifice, thus controlling cylinder speed. A ‘Stop Check’ option on the Cyl-Check receives the ‘lift signal’, opens and allows the oil to flow and the cylinder to lift. Momentary electric signals give incremental lifting. Cyl-Check cylinders come in one bore size and six basic lengths that are stock sizes and available with less than 2-day shipping. The standard lengths are: 2 1/2; 5; 6; 10; 15 and 20 inches. Allenair will make a Cyl-Check Cylinder control in any length you need. You are not limited to the standard sizes. They are very lenient on working to your length and design needs. When you need very precise control of an air cylinder, the ability to stop and start movement, to have controlled speed in one direction and fast return, ask TECO to show you Allenair Cyl-Check Cylinder Controllers. - Ronald Reagan - "America was not built on fear.

For many years we have had VISA and Master Charge and now we also have American Express. We hope the adding of American Express will make ordering from TECO as easy as possible.
